About library databases and search tools: 

All library search tools, as well as all library's electronic resources, are  accessible remotly off campus, to college's staff and students via faculty/students portal  (identification with email + password required)>>databases access.

Library Catalog
Library Search allows search in library catalog, that includes physical materials held by the library, as well as materials accessible online to registered users. The library catalog includes physical and electronic books, journals, DVDs, questionnaires and more 

Google scholar
Google Scholar is a web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Google Scholar index includes most peer reviewed online academic journals and books, conference papers, theses and dissertations, preprints, abstracts, technical reports, and other scholarly literature, including court opinions and patents.

IHP - Index of Hebrew periodicals of Haifa University
The "Index to Hebrew Periodicals" (IHP) is a multi-disciplinary bibliographic indexing project covering articles from Hebrew periodicals and monographs. With a Hebrew and English interface, IHP delivers content in Hebrew (and other languages).


(JSTOR (articles in Hebrew in full text
The Hebrew Journals Project is the result of an extensive collaboration of JSTOR with the University of Haifa Library and the National Library of Israel to digitize and make available the complete back runs of journals published in Hebrew. Access is now granted to the full text of 52 core journals in Hebrew


Index of Henrietta Szold Institute

Database includes bibliographic information and abstracts of the tens of thousands of publications and studies on education and social sciences, written by Israeli researchers and published in Israel and abroad. This is the only reservoir in which each item description bibliographic full and summary in Hebrew. Database collected information on books, articles, research reports and work degree and doctoral degrees in Hebrew and English, education, sociology, psychology, welfare, labor studies, demography, criminology, communications and administration and political science.
Database containing information on research tools used in studies conducted in the fields of education and society. It includes tools such as questionnaires, tests and scales.


Kotar - Titles
The Kotar (Reference) Library is an innovative combination of an online library and a digital work environment, and is the result of cooperation with the leading publishers in Israel. The Kotar Library was developed by CET (Center for Educational Technology). Its goal is to make the leading academic works published over the past half century in Hebrew and English, available to school students, teachers, and researchers. Kotar will also serve as a unique portal for accurate, in-depth information on topics ranging from Israel studies to Judaics, Jewish history, humanities, social sciences and more, all within a cutting-edge digital work environment.

Responsa Project
The Bar Ilan Responsa Project is the world's largest electronic collection of Torah literature of its kind. The Online Responsa Project encompasses the best of the Jewish sources representing a period of over three thousand years of heritage and tradition. All texts are fully and professionally typed in, proofread and hyper-linked.
The database includes the Bible and its principal commentaries, the Talmud Bavli and Talmud Yerushalmi with commentaries, Midrash, Zohar, Halachic Law (Rambam, Shulchan Aruch with commentaries), a large Responsa collection of questions and answers ('Shut' in Hebrew), the Talmudic Encyclopedia etc.


(Rav Milim – Hebrew dictionary (Access through the library catalog
Use of Rav-Milim requires no former linguistic or computer knowledge. By simply typing in a word, in any form, an array of linguistic information is displayed, including the word Nikud. The dictionary includes 70,000 main entries covering all strata and styles of language, each with all of its inflectional forms, with clear explanations, sources and usage examples.
The dictionary is constantly updated, ensuring that all new words authorized by the Academy of the Hebrew Language.
 

'Rambi' - List of Articles in Jewish Studies

RAMBI – The Index of Articles on Jewish Studies. It is a selective bibliography of academic articles covering all of the fields of Jewish studies as well as the study of Eretz Israel and the State of Israel.
RAMBI is based largely on the collections of the National Library. The articles listed in RAMBI are collected from thousands of journals, in print or electronic, from collections of articles and from offprints sent by researchers. RAMBI refers to articles in Hebrew, Latin or Cyrillic letters. The database is updated on a daily basis.

 

Free databases at the Mofet Institute

A database of publications and information in Israel and abroad that enable search and access to free materials, some of which present bibliographic details and references to information items, and some provide the full text articles.

 

The Mofet Institute Information Center Catalog

MOFET’s Intercollegiate Teacher Education Information Center promotes the exchange and dissemination of information among teacher educators through a computerized system of academic educational databases containing books, journal articles and periodicals, dissertations, position papers, research reports, newsletters, bulletins and yearbooks. It also offers teacher support materials such as course syllabi, teacher's guides, worksheets and catalogs.
The Teacher Education Information Center is actively involved in the development of a unique digital library database to serve the teacher educators in Israel. To this end, a comprehensive web-based content portal on teacher education has been developed and is updated regularly.

EBSCO is the leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service. EBSCOhost provides access   to a  large number of different databases in various subjects

 

ERIC & Education FT

ERIC provides access to 1.5 million bibliographic records (citations, abstracts, and other pertinent data) of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added every week. A key component of ERIC is its collection of grey literature in education, which is largely available in full text in Adobe PDF format. Materials with no full text available (primarily journal articles) can often be accessed using links to publisher websites and/or library holdings.
 

Sage Premier 

Sage is a leading international provider of innovative, high-quality content. Sage Premier package provides access to hundreds of scholarly electronic journals in full text 

ProQuest Central

The ProQuest platform makes hundreds of full text and A&I (abstract & index) collections accessible to researchers around the world. Content discovery is an integral part of the ProQuest platform’s goal of driving better outcomes for subscribing organizations and their users.
This resource provides access to 40 of ProQuest's complete databases, with a variety of content types across over 175 subjects, making this the broadest single research resource in the world.

APA PsycNET

PsycINFO is a database of abstracts of literature in the field of psychology. Abstracts of peer-reviewed literature, APA-published scholarly and professional full-text journal articles and book chapters, full-text reference works including the APA Handbooks of Psychology® Series.Unscripted psychotherapy psychological tests, scales, and other measurement tools and more.

Taylor & Francis is one of the world's leading publishers of advanced, emergent and applied academic research and knowledge.Taylor & Francis Education provides access to hundreds of peer-reviewed journals in the field of education.

ULI – Israel Union Catalog
The Israel Union List, of libraries in Israel (ULI) contains more than 9 million bibliographic records from the catalogues of university libraries, colleges and several other major libraries. Records include a link to the institution's local catalogue, where you can browse inventory data.

Movie discovery

Movie discovery database was created by filmmakers. The site features hundreds of documentary films, aimed to be used by academic institutions for learning and teaching purposes.
